Interior painting can seem overwhelming. However, it does not have to be difficult. Sometimes, all it takes is knowing a few tips and tricks.

The first tip involves the paint roller itself. Be sure to fully sink the paint roller into the paint bin before rolling on any paint. If it is only partially submerged, the paint may roll on unevenly. This would cause spots of smooth paint and other spots of paint streaks. You will also want to pick the correct paint roller for the job. Different textured walls will dictate which roller to use. A wall with a lot of texture will require a roller with large bristles to reach into the textured holes and fill them with paint. On the other hand, smooth walls require short bristles for that smooth finish. Long bristles would leave bristle texture on the walls.
